Covana (“Covana”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a co-living matching platform for solo female content creators. Our website is covana.nanocorp.app and you can reach us at hello@covana.app.

We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect the following personal data:

• Email address — to identify you, send waitlist communications, and notify you when Covana launches in your area.
• City / relocation destination — to understand which markets have demand and to help match you with creators in the same destination.

If you become a Founding Member (paid), we also receive payment information processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.

We also collect anonymous analytics data (page views, referrer) via our site beacon. This data is not linked to your identity and contains no personally identifiable information.

We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:

• Waitlist management— to keep your spot on the waitlist and send you updates about Covana's launch in your city.
• Matching — when Covana launches, your city preference helps us suggest compatible co-living partners in your destination.
• Service communications — to send you essential product updates, launch announcements, and founding member information.

We will never send you unsolicited marketing from third parties. Covana's own communications are limited to product updates and co-living match notifications directly related to the service you signed up for.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:

• Consent — by submitting your email and city, you consent to receive waitlist and launch communications from Covana.
• Legitimate interests — we may process data to understand demand by city and to operate and improve our platform, provided our interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Contract performance — if you become a Founding Member, processing is necessary to fulfil our obligations to you.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Ever.

We only share your data with trusted service providers who help us operate Covana, under strict data processing agreements:

• Neon / PostgreSQL — our database provider stores waitlist entries securely.
• Vercel — our hosting provider processes requests to our site.
• Stripe — processes payments for Founding Member purchases.

All processors are contractually required to protect your data and may only process it on our instructions.

We retain your email and city data for as long as necessary to operate the waitlist and match you when Covana launches. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
• Data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from our communications at any time.

Covana does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics beacon collects anonymous page view data without setting persistent cookies or tracking individual users across sessions.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our database is hosted on a secure cloud provider with encrypted connections. Access to production data is strictly limited.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email.
